The Westlands (or often otherwise referred to as “Westland”) is a swathe of lands to the west of the Polar Sea, each with their own history and cultures, allowing for a rich setting to begin your adventures. The Westlands hide secrets both glorious and dreadful; haunted places where lurk profane creatures, cursed ruins hiding forgotten treasures and unholy societies of the occult who connive in the shadows of civilisation.
THE WESTLANDS
HUMBERLAND
The northernmost land of Westland, here exists a fiercely isolationist collection of tribes who are unwaveringly loyal to their druids. It is a haunted land wreathed in mystery and harbour a strange people who are content remain in their palaeolithic ways of life and coexist among the weird and fiendish albeit with affability or hostility.
THE IVORY ISLES
Scattered across mid regions of Westland lie The Ivory Isles. An assortment of feudal, chivalric lands that seemingly never ceases to be at odds with each other. The Ivory Isles have struggled to find unity not only because of feudal disputes, but also from the countless cults and supernatural forces that fester in its shadows.
THE REPUBLIC
The largest and by far the most prosperous land, The Republic of Barantine is a democratic union of states that has focused on the acquisition of trade and diplomacy to enrich their land. Though it is seen as the most stable realm of all civilised Westland, there are still a plethora of darker forces who plot against this fair land with scornful jealousy.
